The photographic heritage of Raymond L. Roberts can be seen in the images he captures. His love for photography was inspired by his mother who was a photographer during the 1940’s and 1950's in New Orleans. In the late 1970’s Raymond was using her outdated equipment to photograph nature and sporting events in black and white. His mother had a make-shift dark room set up in a small room at her home where they would work developing photographs together.
Since that time Raymond has traveled from his own backyard in Arizona to photograph the scenic beauty of Colorado, Florida, Montana, Minnesota, Alaska and Hawaii. Some of his international travels have taken him to Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Wales, England, Italy, Australia and more recently to Papua New Guinea. “I have a love for nature that makes me want to capture it for everyone to see”.
Raymond is an Arizona Wedding Photographer who has a lyrical style that reveals his dedication to accurately preserving each moment in time. "When I photograph people I want those images to capture what each person is experiencing at that moment. For example, I want Wedding Photographs to capture the radiance of a bride's face, which is a reflection of the emotions in her heart."Raymond is an Arizona native where he and his wife of over 25 years live with their two children.
